Driver dies in road accident in Fergana

A road accident involving a Nexia-2 and an Onix occurred in Kuva district of Fergana region, leaving one of the drivers dead. The press service of the regional Traffic Safety Department reported this.
According to the department, the accident occurred at the 189th kilometer of the D-105 Fergana Ring Road, which passes through the Pakhtakor mahalla. A driver born in 1977 was driving a Nexia-2 when he left a gas filling station, entered the opposite lane and collided with an Onix traveling in its own lane.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Nexia-2, identified as Yu.I., died in hospital.
Earlier, a road accident involving a KAMAZ truck and passenger cars occurred in Kukdala district of Kashkadarya region.
