Kyrgyz President’s annual income disclosed

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov earned 2,214,482.38 Kyrgyz soms in 2024, equivalent to approximately 305.6 million Uzbek soms. The information was published in the consolidated data on income declarations of state and municipal officials for 2024 released by the country’s State Tax Service.

According to the data, Sadyr Japarov’s income for 2024 amounted to 2,214,482.38 Kyrgyz soms, while no expenses were declared.

The president’s property holdings include a business center with a total area of 2,627 square meters, a 63-are plot of agricultural land in the Tyup District of Issyk-Kul Region, and a 21-are land plot.

In addition, movable property listed in the declaration includes a Zhiguli vehicle valued at 100,000 soms. The declaration also indicates that cash funds totaling 1.1635 billion soms were legalized and reported as legalized assets. According to the data, the president’s close relatives earned a total of 29,706,840 soms over the year.

It is worth noting that earlier, during a speech in the Jogorku Kenesh, Sadyr Japarov stated that Kyrgyzstan has the capacity to repay its entire external debt within a single day if necessary, but doing so would not be economically expedient.
