Trade turnover between Russia and Uzbekistan is expected to grow by 22% in 2026 and exceed $14 billion, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said on April 20 at the sixth international industrial exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia” in Tashkent.

According to him, bilateral trade increased by more than 12% in 2025, reaching $11.5 billion.

“The positive momentum continues this year, allowing us to expect that trade turnover will reach $14 billion by the end of 2026,” he said.

Manturov noted that active work on joint projects in industry, energy, transport and logistics, agro-industry, and other sectors provides additional confidence in achieving this target.

“Our joint efforts are aimed at expanding industrial cooperation, strengthening the resilience of supply chains, and continuously exploring new areas and formats of cooperation,” he added.

Earlier, on April 13, Abdulla Aripov visited Russia, where he met with his counterpart Mikhail Mishustin and took part in a meeting of the intergovernmental joint commission.

At the meeting, it was reported that bilateral trade exceeded $13 billion by the end of 2025, while in the first two months of 2026, trade volume grew by a further 30%.
