Uzgidromet warns of the danger of avalanches

Uzgidromet has issued a warning about the threat of avalanches in certain mountainous regions of Uzbekistan due to anticipated precipitation and temperature fluctuations from May 1 to 8, as announced by Ozgidromet.
The risk of avalanches has been identified in the mountainous areas of Bostonliq, Parkent, and Ohangaron districts of the Tashkent region, particularly in the Chotqol range, at altitudes above 2000 meters.
“Residents of mountainous regions, tourists, and drivers traversing mountainous terrain are asked to exercise caution and take necessary precautions,” the report stated.
It's worth noting that from April 23 to 30, avalanche risks were also declared in the Bostonliq, Parkent, and Ohangaron districts of the Tashkent region, as well as in the Pop district of the Namangan region.
