Former head of Uzmetkombinat placed on international wanted list

Dilshod Ahmedov, who served as head of Uzbekistan Metallurgical Plant from October 2024 to August 2025, has been placed on the international wanted list through Interpol at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. The notice has been published on Interpol’s official website.
Born in 1972, Dilshod Ahmedov is accused under Article 167, Part 3 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement or misappropriation).

From 2021 to 2024, Dilshod Ahmedov served as First Deputy Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Uzbekistan Metallurgical Plant. In January 2024, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.
Dilshod Ahmedov graduated from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and also studied at the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management. He has experience in organizing production processes and managing industrial enterprise assets in both Uzbekistan and Russia.
