An amusement ride collapsed in Faridabad, India, according to a report by The Hindu.

The incident occurred on February 7 at around 6:00 p.m. The “Top Spin” ride, carrying 26 people, suddenly detached at one end after completing a rotation around its axis and crashed to the ground. Thirteen people were injured, and a police inspector was killed.

Haryana Tourism Minister Arvind Sharma, who visited the site, instructed a full investigation into the incident and assured that strict measures would be taken against those responsible.

Following the accident, Uzbekistan’s Committee for Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety issued a warning to prevent similar incidents.

The committee advised, “If you encounter technically faulty or suspicious rides at amusement parks or recreational facilities within the country, please report them via the ‘Attraksion_nazorati’ mobile platform or the hotline at +998 71 203-02-39.”
