Earlier, in the Yangikurgan district of the Namangan region, it was reported that a teacher sexually abused a minor 6th grade student. It turned out that a 53-year-old teacher is suspected of raping a 13-year-old girl. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.
It turned out that on March 28 of this year, a citizen living in the Yangikurgan district, H.D., appealed to the district Internal Affairs Department (DIB), stating that his minor child, his daughter O.O., born in 2013, was studying in the 6th grade of a secondary school in the district, and that the teacher of this school, a man born in 1973, T.Sh., had sexually abused her child.
A criminal case was initiated by the investigation department of the Yangikurgan district internal affairs department under Part 4 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code (unnatural satisfaction of sexual needs by force).
The suspect T.Sh. was detained in a procedural manner and a preventive measure of arrest was applied to him. At present, preliminary investigation actions have begun.
It is worth noting that earlier it was reported that a draft law providing for life imprisonment for pedophiles would be developed within 3 months.
