U.S. Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick has extended his warm greetings to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

“As we welcome Qurbon hayit, I want to extend my greetings to the people of Uzbekistan and to Muslims all around the world, including the millions of Muslims living in the United States,” the ambassador said.

Ambassador Henick delivered his message from the Langar Ata Mosque in the Kashkadarya region, where he visited the sacred site in honor of the holiday.

“As we prepare to celebrate this blessed holiday, it is a special honor to share this message from the sacred site of langar-ota here in the beautiful Kashkadarya region,” he noted.

He also highlighted the cultural significance of the site and its appeal to Muslims.

“Surrounded by history, faith and tradition, this place powerfully reflects the enduring strength of belief in this region, whether in a quiet mahalla in Karshi , or a vibrant neighborhood in Chicago, Muslim families come together during this holiday to share meals to celebrate their faith and to support those in need. On behalf of the American people , I wish you and your families joy and good health on this holiday,” Henick said in his message.

It should be noted that earlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also extended his congratulations to the people of the country on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
