Man in Andijan shoots 52 traffic radars with pneumatic gun

A man has been identified in Andijan city, Andijan region, for shooting 52 radar cameras with a pneumatic gun. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The individual, identified as M.S., born in 1976, intentionally damaged 51 Hikvision special automated photo and video recording software and hardware devices installed at 29 intersections in Andijan city, which detect violations of traffic rules. Additionally, M.S. damaged 1 Hikvision radar complex by shooting at it with his SRKET pneumatic gun. According to a forensic examination conducted on the case, the total material damage amounted to 1 billion 147 million soums.
In this case, the Investigation Department of the Federal Border Guard Service of the Andijan City Internal Affairs Directorate has initiated a criminal case against M.S. under Article 173, Part 2, Clause “c” of the Criminal Code (intentional destruction or damage to property) and is currently conducting an investigation.
It should be recalled that during the “Safe and Healthy Capital” special operational and preventive measures carried out in Tashkent from January 15 to February 15 of this year, 1 combat vehicle, 21 pneumatic weapons, 7 shotguns, and 14 rounds of ammunition were seized from illegal circulation.
