Second earthquake in one day hits Bukhara region

A 3.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan today, May 21, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring reported.
According to the center, the earthquake was recorded at 3:47 p.m. It had a magnitude of 3.8 and a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was in the town of Gazli, located 524 kilometers southwest of Tashkent. Its coordinates were 40.29 degrees north latitude and 63.13 degrees east longitude.
The earthquake was felt in Uzbekistan as follows:
In Gazli, the tremor was felt at 2-3 points, 32 kilometers from the epicenter;
In Peshku district, it was felt at 2 points, 40 kilometers from the epicenter.
Earlier, a 3.4-magnitude earthquake was also recorded in Bukhara region.
