Dollar exchange rate rises sharply

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective January 9.
According to the Central Bank, the U.S. dollar rose by 75.74 soums to reach 12,109.02 soums.
The euro also increased by 78.81 soums and was set at 14,139.70 soums.
The Russian ruble rose by 1.01 soums to 150.31 soums.
The Chinese yuan increased by 13.13 soums and was fixed at 1,733.77 soums.
The price of one gram of gold, meanwhile, fell by 18,300 soums to 1,759,000 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 16:00 Tashkent time on January 8, the bitcoin exchange rate had declined to 1,093,987,605 soums, down by 11,496,138 soums.
