The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek som effective January 12.
According to the data, the official exchange rate of the U.S. dollar increased by 22.53 soums and amounted to 12,131.55 soums.
The euro rate decreased by 14.94 soums and was set at 14,124.76 soums.
The Russian ruble rose by 3.23 soums to 153.54 soums.
The Chinese yuan increased by 3.50 soums and was set at 1,737.27 soums.
The price of one gram of gold rose by 7,100 soums to 1,766,100 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on January 8, the price of bitcoin increased by 2,642,664 soums and reached 1,096,630,269 soums.
