Shavkat Mirziyoyev to meet Tokayev in Bukhara tomorrow

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Bukhara today, April 10. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbek leader.
According to the statement, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a working visit to Uzbekistan tomorrow, April 11.
As part of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Bukhara. The parties are expected to discuss further development of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance. Special attention will be given to strengthening political dialogue, as well as interparliamentary, intergovernmental and interregional ties.
The leaders will also discuss increasing trade turnover, deepening industrial cooperation, advancing joint projects and programs in transport, energy, water management and environmental protection, and intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges. They will also exchange views on issues on the international and regional agenda.
A joint visit to historical monuments, as well as ознакомление with the activities of industrial enterprises and an exhibition of products, is also planned.
Today, the Uzbek leader will also review ongoing efforts and promising projects aimed at the socio-economic development of Bukhara region.
