16.2 kilograms of narcotics seized during searches in Fergana

In Fergana region, law enforcement officers discovered 16 kilograms and 23 grams of narcotic substances during inspections conducted at the residences of individuals prone to committing crimes. The regional Internal Affairs Directorate provided information on the operation.

According to the report, searches were carried out at the homes of 124 individuals in the region who negatively affect the operational situation and are considered likely to engage in criminal activity. During the operation, 16 kilograms and 23 grams of narcotics were seized, including 15 kilograms and 951 grams of marijuana and 52.5 grams of hashish.

Additionally, 138 units of various potent medicinal drugs were confiscated as material evidence.

It is worth noting that earlier, nearly 21 kilograms of narcotic substances were seized from a resident’s home in Chiroqchi district of Kashkadarya region.
