Official welcoming ceremony held for Emomali Rahmon

An official welcoming ceremony was held on March 26 at the Kuksaroy residence for President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who is on a state visit to Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Uzbek leader.

According to the statement, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly welcomed the high-level guest and invited him to the ceremonial platform.

The national flags of both countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan were performed by a military orchestra.

The leaders then walked past the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.

Following a joint photo session, negotiations between the presidents of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan began.

It is worth noting that earlier, Emomali Rahmon arrived in Tashkent on a state visit, where he was welcomed at the international airport by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
