Italy also appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan

Today, January 12, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials from Guido De Sanctis, the newly appointed Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan. Bakhtiyor Saidov announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the minister, the meeting focused on the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to expanding trade, investment, and economic ties, as well as further developing practical cooperation and encouraging contacts between business communities.
“We wish the Ambassador success in his activities in our country,” Saidov said.
It is worth recalling that earlier Bakhtiyor Saidov also received the credentials of Belgium’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Eric De Mayer.
