In Uzbekistan, 177,000 marriages were registered at civil registry offices between January and September 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The number of marriages by region was as follows:
- Samarkand region – 21.2 thousand
- Fergana region – 19.4 thousand
- Kashkadarya region – 17.7 thousand
- Tashkent city – 16.9 thousand
- Andijan region – 14.9 thousand
- Surkhandarya region – 14.0 thousand
- Namangan region – 13.8 thousand
- Tashkent region – 13.4 thousand
- Bukhara region – 9.8 thousand
- Khorezm region – 9.5 thousand
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 8.7 thousand
- Jizzakh region – 7.6 thousand
- Navoi region – 5.5 thousand
- Syrdarya region – 4.5 thousand
It is worth noting that earlier reports indicated the number of marriages in Uzbekistan has been gradually declining year by year.
