Kyrgyzstan’s embassy in Iran suspends operations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the temporary suspension of the activities of its embassy in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Open.kg reported.

According to the report, the ministry has strongly advised Kyrgyz citizens currently in Iran to remain vigilant, strictly observe personal safety measures, avoid crowded and potentially dangerous places, and comply with the requirements of local authorities.

The ministry also emphasized the importance of carrying identification documents at all times and following official updates. In addition, Kyrgyz citizens were advised to refrain from traveling to Iran temporarily.

In the event of emergencies or if consular assistance is needed, citizens are urged to immediately contact the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic or Kyrgyzstan’s diplomatic missions in neighboring countries.

It is worth noting that earlier, Azerbaijan’s foreign minister announced the evacuation of all diplomatic staff from Iran.
