Kyzyryk District Governor Sherkhon Allamurodov disciplined for poor investment performance

Disciplinary measures have been taken against Kyzyryk District Governor Sherkhon Yo‘lliyevich Allamurodov. Surkhandarya Region Governor Ulugbek Kasimov signed the order on August 23.

According to the document, Allamurodov was reprimanded for delays in attracting foreign investment and failing to meet export targets in the first half of this year. Under Article 312 of the Labor Code, he was given a severe disciplinary sanction and fined 30 percent of his average monthly salary. The order also assigns F. Mengliyev, head of the organizational and personnel group of the regional government, to oversee its implementation.

Sherkhon Allamurodov was born in 1986 in Jarkurgan District. He graduated from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2011 with a degree in law and holds the military rank of lieutenant colonel.

During his career, Allamurodov held various positions in the internal affairs system, including department head in the regional Internal Affairs Department and head of the Jarkurgan District Internal Affairs Department. From 2023 to 2025, he served as head of the Kyzyryk District Internal Affairs Department. On January 27, 2025, he was appointed governor of Kyzyryk District at an extraordinary session of the District Council of People’s Deputies.
