On January 11, 20 applicants studying at a training center in Karakul District sought medical assistance after their health deteriorated. The Bukhara Regional Health Department reported this.

According to the department, the patients were promptly transported to the district medical association.

Following an urgent directive from the regional governor, a working group led by Head of the Regional Health Department Elyor Oltiev was formed and dispatched to the scene. All patients underwent laboratory and instrumental examinations in line with standards set by the Ministry of Health.

As a result of the medical measures taken, the condition of all 20 patients improved, and they were discharged for outpatient treatment. Each patient was assigned a local family doctor and a patronage nurse.

“At present, all of them are in satisfactory condition and have no complaints,” the statement said.

It was also noted that blood samples were collected from the patients and sent for examination in accordance with established procedures.

Earlier, more than 30 children were reported to have suffered mass food poisoning at four preschool institutions in Forish District of Jizzakh Region.
