Uzbek athlete begins Winter Olympics campaign (video)

Uzbek alpine skier Medet Nazarov has started his campaign at the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games on February 14, competing in the giant slalom event.
Nazarov recorded a time of 1:25.75 in his first run, placing 48th at the finish. He later moved to 54th place in the standings. His final position will be determined after the decisive run scheduled for 17:30 Tashkent time.
Later tonight, at 00:15 on February 15, Uzbekistan’s Daniil Yeybog will compete in the short track 1,500-meter quarterfinal.
