Starting from January 8, methane filling stations across Uzbekistan will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Ministry of Energy reported this.

According to the ministry, a decline in pressure in main gas pipelines has been observed, prompting the implementation of a number of necessary measures.

As a result, temporary restrictions are being imposed on the operation of methane filling stations based on schedules agreed upon with local authorities, in order to ensure a stable supply of natural gas to households and social sector facilities.

Beginning from January 8, methane filling stations will operate from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In the Fergana Valley, the operating hours of methane filling stations will be determined in coordination with local authorities and based on gas pressure levels.

“The main reason is to prioritize uninterrupted natural gas supply to the population, public transport, and social sector facilities during periods of reduced gas pressure. Ensuring the stable operation of public transport, meeting the needs of socially significant facilities, and supplying households with gas remain top priorities,” the statement said.

Accordingly, the operating schedules of methane filling stations will be coordinated with local authorities depending on the overall gas supply situation, pressure levels, and consumption volumes. These measures are aimed at ensuring rational use of gas resources and maintaining stable supply.

It was noted that these measures are temporary, and practical efforts are currently underway to restore gas pressure to normal levels.
