Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Mirzatilla Kholmedov has been appointed as the new director of the State Satire Theater of Uzbekistan, according to a report from the Ministry of Culture.
On July 8, First Deputy Minister of Culture Avazkhon Tojikhanov held a meeting at the theater to discuss organizational and creative matters. The discussion focused on improving the quality of performances, attracting audiences, and organizing both domestic and international tours.
During the meeting, Mirzatilla Nigmatullaevich Kholmedov was officially introduced to the theater's staff as its new director, following a formal order issued by the Minister of Culture.
For reference, prior to this appointment, Kholmedov served as a speechwriter at the "Uzbekkontsert" state institution.
