Mirziyoyev visits Moscow for Victory Day celebrations

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Moscow to participate in events marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II, "RIA Novosti" reported.
The visit, taking place on May 8–9, comes at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to the official agenda, President Mirziyoyev will attend ceremonial events dedicated to Victory Day and hold several bilateral meetings.
Earlier today, May 8, the Uzbek leader visited Victory Park in Tashkent in honor of the Day of Memory and Honor and took part in a commemorative ceremony.
