Mirziyoyev and Vučić plant a tree

Today, October 28, a tree-planting ceremony took place at the Kuksaroy residence following high-level talks between Uzbekistan and Serbia. The information was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

According to the report, Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Aleksandar Vučić planted a tree in the Alley of Distinguished Guests as a symbol of their shared aspiration to strengthen friendship and partnership between the two nations and to open a new chapter in the history of bilateral relations.

Earlier, an official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence for the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. The two heads of state also held talks with the participation of their official delegations. Following the discussions, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia signed a Joint Declaration.
