On September 14 this year, Japanese boxer and undisputed world champion Naoya Inoue will defend his titles against Uzbek boxer Murodjon Akhmadaliev at the IG Arena in Nagoya, Japan. The amount of money both fighters will earn in one of the most anticipated bouts in this weight division has been revealed. This was reported by “Salaryleaks.”
Naoya Inoue is recognized as one of the strongest boxers in the world. He currently holds the Ring Magazine, WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF belts.
The total purse for the Inoue–Akhmadaliev fight is estimated at around $20 million, with Inoue as the “A-side” under a 75/25 split. Inoue is expected to receive the biggest payday of his career—about $15 million. His previous highest earnings came against Ye Joon Kim, when he made $7 million.

Murodjon Akhmadaliev, as the challenger and “B-side” in the fight, is set to earn more than $5 million. This will also be the largest payday of his career, as he has never previously earned more than $1 million.
