Drunk driver caught transporting 23 children in Damas in Navoi (video)

A driver has been found to be transporting 23 kindergarten children while intoxicated in the Navoi region's Navoi district, the regional department of Internal Affairs reported.

According to the information, the incident occurred on September 15 of this year. During monitoring activities carried out by the police, a Damas vehicle was stopped, and it was discovered that the driver was carrying 23 kindergarten pupils as well as 2 caregivers.

The driver stated that his own child was also among the passengers.

It was also revealed that the driver did not have a driver's license. Moreover, he was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. For this reason, appropriate measures were taken against him, and the Damas vehicle was placed in an impound lot for temporary storage.

It is worth noting that a driver was found transporting 25 kindergarten children in a Damas vehicle in the Kosonsoy district of Namangan region on April 23 of this year. In May, one of the private kindergartens was also stopped while endangering the lives of 32 minors by transporting them to their destination in Damas, in the Denov district of the Surkhandarya region.
