New mayor appointed in Oqdaryo District

On February 3, an extraordinary session of the Oqdaryo District Council of People’s Deputies appointed Temur Mahmudov Asomidinovich as hokim of Oqdaryo District. The Samarkand regional administration’s press service reported this.
Prior to his appointment, Mahmudov served as head of the Samarkand Regional Department for Poverty Reduction and Employment.
Oqdaryo District had been headed by Sherzod Qudratov since December 2021.
As a reminder, earlier reports said that Bahrom Mahmatraimov had been dismissed from his post as mayor of Oltinsoy District in Surkhandarya Region, and Otabek Mavlonov was appointed in his place.
