On April 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Bukhara and reviewed ongoing construction work at the new administrative center of Bukhara region. This was reported by the presidential press service.

According to the report, the complex is a continuation of the integrated governance model previously tested in Ko‘kdala district of Kashkadarya region. There, 38 government agencies were brought together in one location, creating significant convenience for residents. Citizens who previously had to travel long distances to different district offices can now access all services in one place close to home.

During his visit to Ko‘kdala last year, the President emphasized that this approach should serve as a model for all districts. Since then, similar projects have been launched in other regions based on this experience.

In particular, the administrative center in Bukhara covers 14 hectares. In the first phase, regional and city administrations, as well as institutions such as the regional prosecutor’s office and the internal affairs department, have been consolidated in one area. This is expected to improve coordination among local executive authorities, accelerate the handling of public appeals and enhance the quality of public services.

The complex is not limited to administrative buildings. Parks, fountains and green spaces are also being developed to provide residents with areas for recreation.

The President reviewed the construction progress of the new regional administration building. It was emphasized that efforts to consolidate government agencies into unified administrative centers should continue in order to improve convenience for citizens, allowing them to access necessary services in one place instead of traveling to multiple locations.

At the site, the head of state was also presented with projects aimed at the socio-economic development of the region and improving living conditions for the population.

In particular, it was reported that banks have used artificial intelligence to conduct analyses at the level of regions and neighborhoods, identifying growth points using Bukhara district as an example. These analyses made it possible to assess land, water and labor resources, market demand, infrastructure and existing production capacities in an integrated manner. As a result, agribusiness, tourism, industry and roadside services were identified as the most promising sectors in Bukhara district.

Specifically, opportunities were outlined to develop 15,000 hectares of land, establish 500 hectares of new vineyards, expand wine tourism, and implement new projects in the oil and gas, chemical, construction and food industries. According to the analysis, it is possible to implement projects worth 7.4 trillion soums and create 15,000 new jobs in these sectors between 2026 and 2031.

It was also noted that 36 neighborhoods in the district could be specialized in six key areas: viticulture, fruit and vegetable production, livestock farming, horticulture, tourism and services. To accelerate project development and implementation, artificial intelligence-based solutions are being developed to form resource bases for neighborhoods, automatically prepare business plans, and monitor financial flows and results in real time.

The President emphasized the importance of using the capabilities of artificial intelligence to unlock the potential of each region, develop results-oriented projects, and support initiatives that increase employment and incomes.
