Saidov delivers Mirziyoyev’s letter to Saudi Crown Prince

On May 4, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov delivered a letter from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud during his visit to Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Dunyo.

The letter was handed over through Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during talks in Riyadh.

During the visit, Saidov also held a meeting with Saudi Minister of Investment Fahad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saif. The sides discussed the current state and prospects of investment cooperation, including the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors.

In addition, talks were held with Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The parties discussed the development of cooperation between the Gulf and Central Asian countries, preparations for the second summit, and the expansion of multilateral ties.

The meeting also addressed current international and regional security issues. The GCC Secretary General expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan for its support for the council’s member states.
