In Samarkand, natural gas valued at 1 billion soums was stolen

Two greenhouses in the Samarkand region were discovered to have illegally utilized natural gas valued at 1 billion soums. This information was disclosed by the Department affiliated with the General Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation, conducted by the Past Dargom district department in collaboration with the DIA, “Ozenergoinspektsiya”, and the AGS staff, revealed that G.Kh., residing in an apartment in "Nayman" neighborhood, illicitly consumed 688.9 million soums worth of natural gas by installing 20 pieces of homemade heating equipment in the greenhouse without proper documentation.
Similarly, H.Sh. was found to have illegally used 329.6 million soums worth of natural gas by installing homemade heating equipment in their greenhouse.
In the Boston area, "T-I" LLC was found to have colluded with the district electricity supply company's personnel to install an electric meter without a control seal in their building, resulting in the illegal use of electricity worth 105.2 million soums.
Criminal cases have been initiated, and investigations are ongoing in relation to these incidents, as stated in the report.
