Damas driver thrown from vehicle after crashing into truck in Samarkand (video)

A traffic accident involving a Damas and a truck occurred in Paxtachi district, Samarkand region, on June 9 this year, the Road Safety Service reported.

According to the report, the incident occurred at around 6:10 p.m. on the 138th kilometer of the M-37 highway passing through the Mirza Olim mahalla in Paxtachi district, Samarkand region. Driver A.R., born in 1991, was driving a Damas when he attempted to overtake vehicles ahead of him by moving along the roadside, where there was no asphalt surface. As a result, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the rear of a truck traveling in the same direction.

As a result of the accident, the Damas driver was taken to hospital with injuries. Responsible officers of the Paxtachi district Road Safety Department are conducting an inquiry into the incident.

Earlier, two people died after a truck and a Lacetti car collided in Uzbekistan district, Fergana region.
