Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets UAE minister

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation led by Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, today, May 22. The presidential press service reported this.

At the beginning of the meeting, the minister conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes to the head of state from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The meeting discussed current issues related to further expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, primarily in improving the efficiency of public administration and ensuring the effectiveness of reforms being carried out in this area.

It was noted with great satisfaction that Uzbekistan-UAE relations of friendship and strategic partnership are developing dynamically, while practical cooperation in priority areas continues to strengthen.

A joint roadmap covering cooperation in 10 key areas of improving civil service mechanisms is being consistently implemented. The UAE’s advanced experience in reducing bureaucracy is also being introduced. A project office has been launched under the relevant program.

The results of the “Five Million AI Leaders” educational program, which has so far reached more than one million people, were also recognized.
