A criminal case has been initiated against a judge of the Arbitration Court, the State Security Service reported.

According to the agency, the judge arranged, through his high-ranking acquaintances, to send two residents of Andijan region to South Korea as seasonal workers and demanded $15,000 for the service. To expedite the process, he initially received $4,100 in advance.

When he failed to fulfill his promise, he attempted to return part of the money, at which point he was arrested by the State Security Service and the Economic Crimes Department with material evidence.
