Head of Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Department transferred to Samarkand

On July 29, by the relevant order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tohir Tulkinovich Aripov was appointed Head of the Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Department. This was reported by the Tashkent Regional Government.
A meeting was held at the Tashkent Regional Government under the chairmanship of Zoyir Mirzayev, with the participation of regional activists as well as representatives from city and district governments. During the event, the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs regarding personnel changes was read out.
Tohir Aripov, the former head of the Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Department, was awarded the “Honorary Certificate” of the Tashkent Regional Government for his effective service in ensuring public safety and strengthening peace and stability in the region.
The event was also attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aziz Tashpulatov.
For reference, Tohir Aripov had been serving as the Head of the Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Department since October 15, 2018.
Prior to that, he held the position of Head of the Main Department for Patrol and Post Services and Public Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs from July 2017 to May 2018. He also briefly served as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
It should be noted that in 2022, by presidential decree, Tohir Aripov was awarded the special rank of Major General.
