Uzbekistan’s squad announced for World Chess Olympiad

The line-up of Uzbekistan’s men’s teams for the 46th World Chess Olympiad, scheduled to take place this year, has been announced. The Chess Federation of Uzbekistan reported this.
According to the federation, Uzbekistan will be represented by the following squads at the 46th World Chess Olympiad, which is scheduled to be held in Samarkand from September 15 to 27:
First team:
- Nodirbek Abdusattorov;
- Javokhir Sindarov;
- Nodirbek Yakubboev;
- Shamsiddin Vokhidov;
- Mukhiddin Madaminov.
Second team:
- Abdumalik Abdisalimov;
- Jahongir Vokhidov;
- Muhammadzokhid Suyarov;
- Humoyun Begmurotov;
- Ortik Nigmatov.
Third team:
- Saidakbar Saydaliev;
- Bahrom Bahrullaev;
- Almas Rakhmatullaev;
- Muhammadali Abdurakhmonov;
- Asrorjon Omonov.
For reference, at the International Chess Federation congress held in Chennai, India, from July 31 to August 9, 2022, a decision was made to hold the 46th World Chess Olympiad and the next FIDE Congress in Uzbekistan in 2026. The World Chess Olympiad in Samarkand will be the first chess Olympiad held in Uzbekistan’s history.
