Participants in street fight detained in Tashkent

A street altercation between a driver and a group of citizens took place on February 9 in Tashkent’s Uchtepa district, the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the statement, the driver of an Isuzu truck and his passenger got into an argument with several citizens in the Yusuf Sakkokiy neighborhood. The dispute escalated into a fight.
During the altercation, the truck passenger struck one of the individuals on the head with a metal object, causing injuries.
A criminal case has been opened under Article 277 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism). The suspects have been detained.
The investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, a 19-year-old in Tashkent’s Olmazor district stabbed two underage students at a computer club.
