US President Donald Trump held a telephone conversation with Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on December 23. Trump announced this on his Truth Social account.
“This morning, I had two excellent phone calls with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We discussed the importance of resolving ongoing conflicts, as well as expanding trade and cooperation between our countries,” Trump wrote.
It is worth noting that Shavkat Mirziyoyev last met with Donald Trump on November 7 this year (November 6 Washington time) at the White House.
