From May 1, 2025, citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman who enter Uzbekistan will be granted visa-free entry for a period of 30 days from the day of their arrival. This measure was established in the Presidential Decree titled “On Measures to Significantly Increase the Flow of Tourists and Rapidly Expand the Scope of Tourism Services to Enhance the Role and Importance of Tourism in the Economy for 2025–2026,” which was adopted on May 15.

In the decree, the key target indicators for the tourism sector by the end of 2025 were specified, including:

  • Organizing trips for 15.8 million foreign tourists to various regions of the Republic and achieving tourism services exports of up to 4 billion US dollars;
  • Organizing trips for 40 million domestic tourists within the regions as part of domestic tourism development, and establishing an additional 378 tour operator activities.

From May 1, 2025, visa-free entry for 30 days will be applicable for citizens of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman.

In addition, from 2025 every year, until November 30, regional programs on tourism development for the coming year will be developed.

Furthermore, starting in 2025, International Tourism Week will be organized annually during the third week of November.

Also, from June 2025, in order to implement the “Travel Across Uzbekistan!” program, every month on the Saturday and Sunday of the second week will be designated as “Family and Community Travel Day.”
