On 14 November, Uzbekistan’s national football team faced Egypt in the international friendly tournament held in Al Ain, UAE. Uzbekistan won the match with a score of 2:0.

In the first half, both teams created several opportunities. Uzbekistan’s midfielder Oston Urunov opened the scoring in the 3rd minute after skillfully passing Egyptian defenders and netting a quick goal. The African side also had a number of chances but failed to convert. In the 44th minute, Urunov entered the opponent’s penalty area from the left flank and completed his brace, bringing the score to 2:0.

Egypt began the second half with a series of attacks, but the “White Wolves” maintained solid defense, and the goalkeeper prevented any goals. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, giving Uzbekistan victory in the first-ever match between the two teams. Uzbekistan will now face Iran in the final of the friendly tournament.
