Bielsa: Uzbekistan boasts a stronger, more dynamic, and disciplined team

Today, on October 13, the Uzbekistan national football team will face Uruguay in a friendly match. Ahead of the game, Uruguay’s head coach Marcelo Bielsa shared his thoughts about Uzbekistan at a press conference.

’’International matches are always challenging, especially considering that the opponent has an experienced and reputable coach like Fabio Cannavaro,’’ Bielsa said.

When asked about the differences between Uruguay and Uzbekistan, Bielsa responded:

’’No match in modern football is easy. Even taking rankings into account, there are no straightforward games nowadays. Any encounter can produce unexpected results.’’

Additionally, Bielsa commented on the Uzbekistan national team, noting: ’’Unlike their match against the Dominican Republic, Uzbekistan is a physically stronger, more dynamic, and disciplined team.’’

’’They are taking their World Cup preparations very seriously,’’ the Uruguay coach added.

The match between Uzbekistan and Uruguay will take place at Hang Jebat Stadium in Malacca, Malaysia. The game is scheduled to kick off at 17:45 Tashkent time.
