Uzhydromet has released a weather forecast for January 12–18.
According to the forecast, weather conditions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region will be variable. No precipitation is expected, except in some areas on January 15–17, when rain and snow are possible. Fog may occur in certain locations. Westerly winds will shift to easterly at speeds of 7–12 m/s, strengthening to 12–17 m/s in some areas on January 12–13. Nighttime temperatures on January 12–14 will range from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero, dropping to 0–5°C below zero on January 15–16 and to 2–7°C below zero on January 17–18. Daytime temperatures will rise to 7–12°C on January 12–13, decrease to 3–8°C on January 14, and fall further to between 2°C below zero and 3°C above zero from January 15 to 18.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions, variable weather is expected. No precipitation is forecast, though rain and snow are possible in some areas on January 15–17. Fog may form locally. Westerly winds will shift to easterly at 7–12 m/s, strengthening to 12–17 m/s in some areas on January 13. Nighttime temperatures on January 12–14 will range from 2–7°C above zero, dropping to between 3°C below zero and 2°C above zero from January 15–18. Daytime temperatures will reach 11–16°C on January 12, 13–18°C on January 13–14, and decrease to 2–7°C above zero on January 15–18.
In Tashkent city and the Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, weather conditions will also be variable. No precipitation is expected, except for possible rain in some areas on January 12 and 15, and rain or snow on January 16–17. Fog may occur in some locations. Easterly winds will shift to westerly at 7–12 m/s, with gusts up to 12–17 m/s in some areas on January 13. Nighttime temperatures will range from 0–5°C above zero on January 12–14, rise to 2–7°C above zero on January 15, and fall to between 2°C below zero and 3°C above zero on January 16–18. Daytime temperatures will reach 8–13°C on January 12, 10–15°C on January 13–14, and decrease to 2–7°C above zero from January 15–18.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions, variable weather is expected with no precipitation, except for possible rain and snow in some areas on January 16–17. Fog may occur locally. Easterly winds will shift to westerly at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 3–8°C above zero on January 12–15, dropping to between 2°C below zero and 3°C above zero on January 16–18. Daytime temperatures will reach 13–18°C on January 12, 15–20°C on January 13–14, and fall to 5–10°C above zero on January 15–18.
In Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, weather will be variable with no precipitation expected, except for possible rain and snow in some areas on January 16–17. Fog may form in certain locations. Easterly winds will blow at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero. Daytime temperatures will reach 7–12°C on January 12–14 and decrease to 2–7°C above zero on January 15–18.
In mountainous areas of the country, variable weather is expected. No precipitation is forecast, except for possible rain and snow in some locations on January 12 and January 16–17. Fog may occur in some areas. Easterly winds will blow at 7–12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures on January 11–16 will range from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero, falling to 2–7°C below zero on January 17–18. Daytime temperatures will reach 3–8°C above zero on January 12, 5–10°C above zero on January 13–14, and decrease to between 3°C below zero and 2°C above zero from January 15–18.
