Canada announces World Cup squad ahead of match against Uzbekistan

Canada, which will play a friendly match against Uzbekistan’s national team on June 2 this year, has announced its final 26-man squad for the World Cup. The country’s football federation said this in a statement.
Canada’s final squad includes key stars such as Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David and other leading players.
The players who will represent Canada in the friendly against Uzbekistan and at the World Cup are as follows:
Canada has been drawn in Group B at the World Cup, where it will compete against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar and Switzerland. The team will begin its World Cup campaign on June 12 with a match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The friendly match between Uzbekistan and Canada will take place on June 2 at 6:30 a.m. Tashkent time.
Earlier, Fabio Cannavaro also announced a preliminary 30-man squad for the World Cup.
