On August 2, several houses in Zarafshan, Navoi region, were flooded following a burst water pipe, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to the ministry, at 01:50, an industrial-technical water pipe with a diameter of 1,250 mm, belonging to the 6th pumping station of the “External Water Supply Unified Energy Service,” burst in the city.
Water leaked from under the walls of houses 23 and 25 on Taraqqiyot Street and entered the rooms of house 16 on Sivilya Street, partially damaging some household appliances.
Rescuers from the city’s emergency department promptly arrived at the scene and used special equipment to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
"No injuries were reported," the report stated.
It is worth noting that earlier, in the Bulaqbashi district of Andijan region, streets were flooded due to damage to one of the banks of the South Fergana Canal, which flows through the Sarvontepa neighborhood.
