The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum effective from December 24.
According to the Central Bank, the official exchange rate of the US dollar increased by 41.9 soums to 12,052.33 soums.
The euro also rose by 125.08 soums and was set at 14,213.31 soums.
The Russian ruble gained 2.46 soums, reaching 153.71 soums.
The Chinese yuan increased by 8.13 soums to 1,714.88 soums.
The price of one gram of gold rose by 30,000 soums to 1,773,600 soums.
According to TradingView data, as of 4:00 p.m. Tashkent time on December 23, the price of bitcoin stood at 1,055,116,444 soums, down to 22,648,946 soums per unit.
