Presidential Speechwriter Khayriddin Sultanov retains his position

Khayriddin Madriddinovich Sultanov has remained in his position as Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan — Speechwriter. The announcement was made by Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov.

For reference, Khayriddin Sultanov graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan) in 1978. He began his career at the magazine "Guliston", and later worked at "Yoshlik" magazine and the Gafur Gulom Publishing House of Literature and Art.

His notable prose works include "Quyosh barchaga barobar (The Sun is Equal for Everyone)", "Bir oqshom ertagi (One Night's Tale)", "Onamning yurti (My Mother's Land)", "Umr esa o‘tmoqda (Life is Passing)", "Boburning tushlari (Dreams of Babur)", the educational novel "Boburiynoma", "To‘qchilik va yo‘qchilik (Affluence and Poverty)", and "Saodat sohili (The Shore of Happiness)". He is also the author of several video films, including "Changak", "Moziydan bir sahifa (A Page from the Past), and "Mehrobdan chayon (A Scorpion from the Altar)", as well as the screenplays for feature and documentary films such as "Tushlarimda ko‘rib yig‘layman (I Cry When I See It in My Dreams)" and "Yolg‘iz yodgorim (My Lonely Monument)".

Sultanov has received numerous honors throughout his career. He was awarded the “Shuhrat” medal in 1996, the “Mehnat Shuhrati” order in 2003, the title of “Honored Journalist of the Republic of Uzbekistan” in 2006, and the “For Selfless Service” order in 2016.

It should be recalled that earlier, by a presidential decree, Abdulaziz Hafizovich Komilov, Gofurjon Ganievich Mirzaev, Ravshan Ayubovich Gulomov, Sardor Uktamovich Umurzakov, Mansurbek Polvonzoda Olloyorov, and Ruslanbek Kuroltoevich Davletov were appointed to advisory positions to the President.
