President orders dismissal of all district tax inspectorate heads in Tashkent

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Chairman of the Tax Committee to dismiss the heads of all district tax inspectorates in the city of Tashkent and appoint acting heads in their place. This was announced today, January 27, during a videoconference meeting chaired by the President, held at the Security Directorate under the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent City.
During the meeting, instructions were given to dismiss H. Mullajonov, Head of the Shaykhontohur District Tax Inspectorate, and Y. Nasimjanov, Head of the Tashkent City Tax Department, to review their activities, and to ensure the rule of law.
The Chairman of the Tax Committee was also instructed to dismiss the heads of all district tax inspectorates in Tashkent City and appoint acting officials to these positions.
The Chairman of the Committee, F. Pulatov, and the newly appointed Deputy Chairman for Compliance, A. Soliyev, were tasked with creating an uncompromising environment against corruption, reviewing the suitability of tax leadership positions in Tashkent City, and replacing them with patriotic, proactive, and energetic young professionals striving for innovation.
Deputy Head of the City Department under the Prosecutor General’s Office, A. Gʻaniyev, was ordered to be dismissed immediately for allegedly assisting so-called “entrepreneurs” in evading taxes.
A. Soliyev and M. Mirkhamidov, who was appointed as Deputy Mayor of Tashkent for Compliance, were designated as responsible for creating an uncompromising environment against the hidden economy in the capital.
