Saida Mirziyoyeva attends opening of Lazgi festival

On April 27, Saida Mirziyoyeva attended the opening ceremony of the third International Lazgi Dance Festival in Khiva. She shared details of the event on her official Telegram channel.
According to her, the ceremony brought together participants from dozens of countries, as well as representatives of UNESCO, diplomats, scholars, and masters of dance, who gathered to experience a living expression of history.
She also read out a congratulatory message from Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the opening ceremony. The message emphasized that Lazgi is a vivid symbol of civilization and noted that the dance, with a history spanning three millennia, is now being performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages.
“Lazgi is the soul of our people expressed through graceful movements, a dialogue of cultures and civilizations,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
Earlier, it was reported that Saida Mirziyoyeva had visited the Khorezm region, inspected a kindergarten and a school in need of repair, and toured the Ichan Kala complex in Khiva.
