The Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) may sanction seven clubs, including deducting three points each from "Navbahor" and "Neftchi." The association's press service reported this.
According to the source, several clubs have carried out actions that violate obligations stipulated in committee decisions. The UFA analyzed the execution of decisions adopted by the Committee on the Status and Transfer of Football Players. In accordance with the committee's decisions, clubs were obliged to fully eliminate their debts within a set deadline.
It was determined that the "Navbahor," "Neftchi," "Andijan," "Khorazm," "Bukhara," "Kumkurgan-1977," and "TerDU" football clubs have not fully complied with the obligations set forth in the committee's decisions.
"Despite disciplinary measures in the form of fines being imposed on these football clubs for failing to eliminate their debts within the specified deadline, they still have not eliminated the debt," the report stated.
The association also announced that harsher penalties will be considered against the seven teams mentioned above.
"On November 3, 2025, the relevant committee of the Uzbekistan Football Association will consider the issue of applying stricter disciplinary measures against these football clubs.
This includes considering the following measures on the agenda: deducting 3 points from the accumulated points (a penalty of three points) for the 'Navbahor' and 'Neftchi' football clubs in the Uzbekistan Super League championship, along with imposing a ban on registering new players at the international and national level during the winter transfer window. Furthermore, placing a ban on registering new players at the international and national level during the winter transfer window for the 'Andijan,' 'Khorazm,' 'Bukhara,' and 'TerDU' clubs, and the measure of expelling the 'Kumkurgan-1977' football club from the competition," the official statement added.
