Khusanov’s transfer value rises sharply

The market value of Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City defender Abdukodir Khusanov has increased by 15 million euros. Transfermarkt reported this.

Today, June 3, Transfermarkt updated the market values of English Premier League players. According to the update, Khusanov’s value rose from 35 million euros to 50 million euros.

According to the portal, the market values of 524 players competing in the English Premier League were updated. After the update, the league’s total transfer value decreased by 209 million euros, but it retained its status as the world’s most valuable league with a total value of 12.37 billion euros.

The biggest increase was recorded by Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki. The French player’s market value rose by 25 million euros to reach 90 million euros.

Manchester City player Nico O’Reilly also saw his market value increase by 20 million euros to 70 million euros. Abdukodir Khusanov ranked eighth among the players with the biggest increases in market value.

For reference, the 22-year-old centre-back played 36 matches in all competitions for the Cityzens this season, starting 30 of them. At the end of the season, he won the FA Cup and the League Cup with Manchester City.
